Shawnee, Kansas, United States, April 2026 — Dan Peizer has joined Argenta as Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, he is leading the company’s global commercial strategy as it continues to strengthen its position as a fully integrated CRO/CDMO focused exclusively on animal health. As CCO, he is responsible for end-to-end revenue performance, go-to-market execution, and commercial strategy across all business units and geographies, including the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. His remit also includes building and scaling the international commercial organization, driving predictable revenue growth, shaping Argenta’s global brand positioning, and contributing to corporate strategy, M&A evaluation, and investment planning as a member of the executive leadership team.
Before joining Argenta, Dan Peizer served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing at OFD Life Sciences, where he led external commercial activities for a new CDMO player in life sciences. In that role, he added further depth to his commercial leadership profile in the broader development and manufacturing services space, spanning both human and veterinary health products.
Prior to that, he built a long and accomplished career at Catalent Pharma Solutions, where he spent more than 12 years across a series of increasingly senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Global Brand Marketing & Activation, leading an international team responsible for tactical marketing plans across the full business, including pharma, consumer health, biologics, and corporate brand. Earlier, he was Vice President, Head of Marketing & Strategy, Pharma & Consumer Health, where he led global strategy development and marketing planning in partnership with the group president. He also held the roles of Vice President, Head of Marketing & Strategy, Consumer Health, Senior Director, Global Marketing & Strategy, Consumer Health, Senior Director, Consumer Health Marketing and Business Development, Director, Marketing & Strategy, Pharmaceutical Softgel, and Global Director of Corporate Marketing. These assignments reflect deep experience across strategy, global marketing, business development, value proposition design, account-based marketing, corporate brand building, and commercial growth.
A particularly significant part of his journey at Catalent was his role as Director, Global Sales & Marketing – Animal Health, where he was hired to establish a brand-new animal health business within one of the world’s leading CDMOs. In that role, he generated a major opportunity funnel, built and trained an international business development team, led all related marketing activities, and helped create a cross-functional animal health playbook. This experience strongly aligns with his new mandate at Argenta, where animal health remains central to the company’s mission.
Before joining Catalent, Dan Peizer spent more than 12 years at Bayer HealthCare – Animal Health, where he held a number of commercial and marketing leadership roles. These included Head of Trade Marketing, Pet Specialty, Marketing Manager, Non-Parasiticides, Product Manager, Companion Animal Anti-infectives, Product Manager, Endoparasiticides, and Senior Technical Sales Representative. Across these assignments, he built extensive expertise in animal health marketing, channel development, brand strategy, product launches, forecasting, customer education, and commercial execution in veterinary and companion animal markets. He led growth in sales, market share, and channel profitability, and received multiple marketing and product management awards during his tenure.
Earlier in his career, he served as Territory Manager at Burns Veterinary Supply, now Covetrus, where he sold veterinary healthcare products and built strong relationships in the companion animal and equine veterinary channels. Before that, he worked as Special Agent at Prudential Preferred Financial Services, where he sold personal insurance and financial services solutions and built a foundation in consultative sales, relationship development, and financial planning.
His career reflects a strong and sustained progression across commercial leadership, strategy, marketing, sales, business development, and animal health-focused growth. With experience spanning CDMO services, global brand and revenue leadership, veterinary healthcare, and customer-centric commercial transformation, Dan Peizer brings a highly accomplished and relevant leadership profile to his new role at Argenta.
