Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, May 2026 — Blake Patterson has started a new position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Nanometrics Inc., bringing with him extensive global experience in finance transformation, advisory, and strategic leadership.
In his new role, Blake will oversee the company’s financial strategy, performance management, and long-term value creation initiatives, supporting Nanometrics’ continued growth in delivering advanced seismic monitoring and data solutions worldwide.
Prior to joining Nanometrics Inc., Blake Patterson served as Managing Director at KST Advisors Inc., where he provided strategic CFO advisory, management consulting, and transformation services to organizations navigating growth and complexity.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years at Korn Ferry, progressing through leadership roles including Senior Partner & Global Account Leader, where he advised boards, C-suite leaders, and global organizations on business transformation, M&A, leadership development, and enterprise value creation across multiple sectors.
Before Korn Ferry, Blake held senior advisory roles at EY, where he specialized in finance performance improvement and enterprise transformation across regions including Africa, India, and the Middle East. During this tenure, he led large-scale initiatives spanning operating model design, cost optimization, shared services, and post-M&A integration.
In the earlier phase of his career, he worked as an independent management consultant, delivering fractional CFO services and leading finance transformation projects across global markets, including North America and the Caribbean. He also held roles at Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings Ltd., Emera, and PwC, building a strong foundation in financial reporting, audit, and risk management.
