Alpharetta, Georgia, United States, May 2026 — Ron Masterson has started a new position as Chief Operations Officer at TAPI, bringing with him more than three decades of operational leadership experience across the specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors.
Masterson joins TAPI after serving as Chief Operating Officer at Valtris Specialty Chemicals, where he led operational strategy and business performance initiatives across the organization. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Global Operations at Arxada, overseeing large-scale operational and manufacturing functions.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade with Lonza, where he held multiple senior global leadership positions including Vice President of Global Operations, Global Vice President, Value Chain and Product Management, and Global Product Manager. During his tenure, he led operational transformation, value chain optimization, product management, manufacturing leadership, and global operational excellence initiatives across international markets.
Masterson also held leadership positions at Arch Chemicals and FUJI Hunt Photographic Chemicals, where he managed production, quality systems, engineering operations, manufacturing services, and safety functions. His early career included engineering and project management roles with S.M. Stoller Corporation, Martin Marietta, and Dow Chemical, providing him with deep technical and operational expertise across industrial manufacturing environments.
In his new role at TAPI, Masterson is expected to lead the company’s global operations strategy, manufacturing excellence initiatives, operational efficiency programs, and business scalability efforts as the organization continues expanding its pharmaceutical and API capabilities worldwide.
