New York, United States, May 2026 – Samir Singh has been appointed President, Enterprise Oral Care at Colgate-Palmolive, effective June 1, 2026. As part of this appointment, he will also join the company’s global leadership team, marking a significant milestone in a distinguished international career spanning nearly three decades across some of the world’s most respected consumer goods organizations.
His appointment comes at a pivotal time for Colgate-Palmolive as the global oral care market continues to evolve through innovation, digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and changing consumer expectations. With extensive global experience across brand building, category leadership, innovation, and business transformation, Samir is expected to play a key role in shaping the future growth of Colgate-Palmolive’s flagship oral care business worldwide.
Before joining Colgate-Palmolive, Samir served as Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific at Colgate-Palmolive, where he led one of the company’s most strategically important regions. In this role, he was responsible for driving business growth, strengthening market leadership, and accelerating innovation across multiple markets throughout Asia-Pacific.
Prior to joining Colgate-Palmolive, Samir built an exceptional sixteen-year leadership career with Unilever, where he held several high-impact global and regional leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Chair, Unilever Asia Pte Ltd and Head, Unilever Singapore Hub, while simultaneously holding the role of Chief Marketing Officer, Personal Care. In this capacity, he led global marketing, innovation, communication, advertising, and growth strategies for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Dove, Lifebuoy, Lux, Axe, Rexona, Closeup, and Pepsodent.
Earlier, Samir served as Executive Vice President, Skin Cleansing and Oral Care, leading an approximately $8 billion global business. During his tenure, he drove significant growth, accelerated category innovation, expanded market share, and strengthened several iconic global brands. Prior to that, he was Global Executive Vice President, Skin Cleansing, overseeing brands such as Dove, Lifebuoy, Lux, Pears, Baby Dove, and Radox across global markets.
His leadership journey at Unilever also included serving as Executive Director, Personal Care at Hindustan Unilever Limited, where he managed one of India’s largest personal care portfolios, including skincare, haircare, oral care, deodorants, cosmetics, and salon businesses. Earlier global assignments included Global Brand Vice President – Lifebuoy, Global Brand Director – Vaseline, Marketing Director – Skin Care, Regional Marketing Director – Southeast Asia, Regional Brand Manager – South Asia & Middle East, and several senior marketing and sales leadership roles.
Throughout his career, Samir has earned recognition for building purpose-driven brands, driving innovation-led growth, and creating large-scale consumer impact initiatives. His work on brands such as Lifebuoy, Dove, Vaseline, Lux, Closeup, and Pepsodent has contributed significantly to their growth and global relevance.
He began his professional journey with Hindustan Unilever, where he held sales and marketing leadership positions, steadily progressing through increasingly senior roles before assuming global leadership responsibilities.
Samir holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, one of India’s premier management institutions. His combination of global marketing expertise, business leadership, innovation capabilities, and consumer understanding has established him as one of the most respected leaders in the global consumer goods industry.
