Chicago, Illinois, United States, June 2026 – Matt Cherry has joined RJW Logistics Group as Chief People Officer, bringing more than three decades of global human resources leadership experience across logistics, manufacturing, industrial products, fitness equipment, and supply chain-driven businesses. In his new role, he will lead RJW Logistics Group’s people strategy, talent management, organizational development, leadership capability, workforce planning, and culture initiatives as the company continues to strengthen its position as a leading retail logistics and supply chain solutions provider.
Matt joins RJW Logistics Group following his tenure as Chief People Officer at HH Global, where he led the global people agenda for the marketing execution and supply chain solutions company. During his time there, he focused on organizational effectiveness, leadership development, talent strategy, and employee engagement while supporting the company’s continued international growth and transformation.
Prior to HH Global, Matt served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Titan America, one of North America’s leading heavy building materials producers. Over more than five years, he led enterprise-wide human resources strategy, workforce transformation, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational culture initiatives. His leadership helped strengthen people capabilities across a large and geographically dispersed workforce while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Earlier, Matt held the position of Vice President & Chief People Officer at Life Fitness, where he led the global human resources function for one of the world’s leading fitness equipment manufacturers. In this role, he was responsible for talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and global workforce strategy, helping support the company’s international operations and business objectives.
Before Life Fitness, Matt spent more than six years with Brunswick Corporation, serving in senior HR leadership roles including Vice President Human Resources, Brunswick Boat Group and Vice President Human Resources, Brunswick Marine EMEA & APAC. During this period, he managed complex international HR operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, driving people strategies aligned with business growth, workforce development, and operational performance.
Earlier in his career, Matt served as HR Director at Sealine International Ltd and spent over a decade with Corus, where he built a strong foundation in industrial relations, talent management, organizational development, and strategic human resources leadership. These experiences provided him with deep expertise in leading people functions within manufacturing and operationally intensive environments.
With extensive international experience spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, Matt is widely recognized for his expertise in strategic human resources leadership, organizational transformation, leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, and culture building.
