Copenhagen, Denmark, June 2026 – KMD has announced the appointment of Ricco Larsen as its new Chief Delivery Officer (CDO), a newly established executive role created to strengthen customer delivery excellence, improve execution reliability, and enhance customer experience across the organization.
In his new position, Ricco will lead KMD’s newly formed Customer Delivery function, bringing together critical delivery disciplines across the company to improve the execution of complex programs, transitions, and operational transformations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and serving as a member of KMD’s senior management team, he will be responsible for end-to-end delivery profitability, customer satisfaction, delivery governance, portfolio prioritization, demand-capacity balancing, and the leadership of more than 750 professionals across multiple delivery models.
Commenting on his appointment, Ricco noted that KMD’s combination of scale, societal importance, and commitment to delivery excellence made the opportunity particularly compelling. He emphasized the company’s ambition to further strengthen execution capabilities in an environment characterized by increasing technological complexity and rapid change.
Ricco joins KMD after a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years with NNIT, where he held a series of senior executive leadership positions across Europe, Asia, and global operations. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Life Sciences Region Europe & Global Solutions Development, where he was responsible for consolidating operations across Europe, leading more than 400 employees, and delivering strong revenue growth while improving customer loyalty and operational performance. During this period, he also led the integration of multiple group companies and strengthened delivery governance across international markets.
Earlier, Ricco served as Senior Vice President and Head of Life Sciences Solutions, where he built and led a global division with responsibility for more than 800 employees across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Under his leadership, the business achieved significant growth, expanded consulting and professional services capabilities, and successfully executed multiple international acquisitions and integration programs.
His career at NNIT also included leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer and Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure Services, overseeing global technology and infrastructure operations with responsibility for approximately 1,900 employees across Denmark, the Czech Republic, China, and the Philippines. During this period, he drove operational excellence initiatives, improved service reliability, expanded profitability, and onboarded major international clients while strengthening governance and resource planning capabilities.
Among his earlier leadership assignments, Ricco served as Head of Global Operations, Chief Executive Officer of NNIT China, Vice President of SAP Services, and Director of Regulatory & Quality Solutions, demonstrating extensive expertise in international business leadership, operational transformation, portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, customer delivery, and organizational scaling. His experience also includes serving as Chairman of the Board for several NNIT Group companies following strategic acquisitions and integration initiatives.
Ricco’s appointment reflects KMD’s strategic focus on strengthening customer delivery capabilities, reducing delivery risk, improving transparency, and ensuring predictable outcomes for customers as the company continues to deliver mission-critical digital solutions that support Danish society.
