Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Hamilton Housewares (Milton) has appointed Dr. Prashant Harale as Senior General Manager – HR & Administration, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to drive growth, operational excellence, and people-centric transformation across its expanding business ecosystem.
Dr. Harale brings over two decades of extensive experience in human resources, industrial relations, talent management, HR transformation, organizational development, and administration across leading manufacturing, engineering, chemical, infrastructure, and consumer brands. In his new role at Hamilton Housewares, he will lead strategic HR and administration initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, capability development, and operational efficiencies.
Prior to joining Hamilton Housewares, Dr. Harale served as Senior General Manager – HR & Administration (Head – HR & Admin) at Bhansali Engineering Polymers Ltd., where he played a critical role in aligning HR and administration strategies with business objectives. He spearheaded talent development initiatives, drove HR digital transformation, managed industrial relations and union negotiations, implemented process automation, and strengthened administrative and compliance frameworks across the organization.
Before that, he worked with Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. as General Manager – Human Resources, leading HR strategy for Projects and Industrial Chemical businesses. During his tenure, he managed HR business partnering, workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, compliance management, and leadership development initiatives while supporting large-scale greenfield and brownfield project operations.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Harale spent over seven years with Sumitomo Chemical India Limited as Dy. General Manager – HR, where he led corporate and manufacturing HR functions. His responsibilities included performance management, succession planning, HR analytics, automation initiatives, compliance monitoring, union relations, learning and development, and implementation of HR systems and SAP-driven process transformation.
He also held key HR leadership roles at Greaves Cotton Limited, where he managed corporate HR strategy, capability development, employee engagement, policy formulation, succession planning, and HR automation initiatives across PAN India operations. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in implementing online performance management systems and SAP HCM transformation projects.
Prior to that, Dr. Harale worked with Voltas Limited in multiple HR leadership capacities, contributing significantly to SAP HR implementation projects for India and overseas operations, talent management, performance management systems, employee engagement, and HR process development. He began his professional journey with ITD Cementation India Ltd., where he managed recruitment, industrial relations, compliance, and workforce administration at construction sites.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Harale has built deep expertise in HR strategy, organizational transformation, industrial relations, leadership development, compliance management, HR digitization, and employee lifecycle management, making him a seasoned HR leader with strong business partnering capabilities.
