Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, June 2026 — Amish Hasan has started a new position as VP & Operating Head – IT at Honda Cars India Ltd.Hasan brings nearly three decades of experience in IT leadership, digital transformation, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, IT governance, manufacturing technology enablement, enterprise mobility, and business-aligned technology strategy. In his new role, he will lead IT and digital transformation initiatives, including AI adoption, IT/DX strategy, infrastructure resilience, IoT/MES implementation, cybersecurity, DPDP implementation, strategic outsourcing, and people capability development.
Prior to this role, Hasan served as General Manager & Division Head – IT at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., where he led end-to-end IT operations for Honda’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing facility globally. He was responsible for IT/DX strategy, plant application and infrastructure management, IT transformation for EV production, Industry 4.0/5.0 enablement, cybersecurity, IT governance, DPDP and ISO readiness, vendor management, and digital business enablement.
Earlier, he worked with Honda Cars India Ltd as Head – IT Infrastructure, managing data centers, networks, security, end-user equipment, cloud strategy, disaster recovery, service desk operations, and infrastructure support for corporate and dealer networks. He also led cost optimization, cybersecurity management, strategic outsourcing, and infrastructure readiness for digital transformation.Before that, Hasan served as Head – IT Infrastructure at Honda Motor India Pvt Ltd, where he managed the organization’s IT infrastructure, data center operations, network security, end-user support, vendor partnerships, disaster recovery, and IT governance initiatives.
His earlier journey includes working with Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. as Assistant Manager – IT, where he managed data center and network infrastructure supporting Honda’s plant and logistics operations. He began his career with CMS Computers Ltd as Senior Customer Support Engineer, managing data center, network, AS/400, Lotus Mail, helpdesk, and project management responsibilities for Philips India.
With his deep expertise across IT transformation, digital strategy, manufacturing technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and business innovation, Hasan is expected to play a key role in strengthening Honda Cars India Ltd’s digital and technology capabilities.
