Wiesbaden, Germany, April 2026 — Panasonic Europe has announced the appointment of Andrea Clack as its new Chief People Officer (CPO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a people-first culture as it navigates rapid technological change, artificial intelligence adoption, and the evolving expectations of the modern workforce.
According to Panasonic Europe, Andrea’s vision is centred on people-first transformation, creating a culture where openness, connection, and trust enable employees and the business to evolve together. As Chief People Officer, her leadership priorities include strengthening collaboration across the organization, preserving the human element in an increasingly AI-driven workplace, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, expanding Panasonic’s Basic Business Philosophy (BBP) training, simplifying processes, and creating growth opportunities that help employees develop alongside the company’s transformation.
Prior to assuming the role of Chief People Officer, Andrea served as Chief Audit & Risk Officer at Panasonic for more than five years, where she led the company’s audit and risk management functions across Europe.
Earlier, she spent nearly 13 years as Head of Internal Audit – Europe & CIS Regions at Panasonic Europe Ltd, overseeing internal audit activities across multiple markets. Before that, she served as Internal Audit Manager – UK at Panasonic UK, building extensive experience in governance, compliance, audit, and risk management.
Andrea began her professional career with Grant Thornton UK LLP as Assistant Audit Manager, establishing a strong foundation in audit and financial assurance before joining Panasonic, where she has built a career spanning nearly three decades.
Her appointment represents a significant leadership transition, bringing together deep institutional knowledge and extensive governance experience to lead Panasonic Europe’s people agenda during a period of organizational transformation and continued innovation.
