London, Ontario, Canada, July 2026 — Cognition+ has elevated Jennifer Lade to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Having progressed through the organization’s finance leadership ranks, Jennifer will now lead the company’s financial strategy, governance, planning, and business performance as Cognition+ continues to expand its digital insurance technology platform.
Jennifer joined Cognition+ in 2023 as Finance Manager, where she played a key role in strengthening financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial management. Her promotion to Chief Financial Officer reflects her significant contribution to the company’s growth and financial excellence.
Alongside her corporate responsibilities, Jennifer also serves as a Research Assistant at the Sustainable Finance Lab at Ivey Business School at Western University, contributing to research in the evolving field of sustainable finance.
Prior to joining Cognition+, Jennifer served as Assistant Controller at Brescia University College, where she supported institutional financial management, reporting, and internal controls.
Earlier, she worked as Senior Accountant at StarTech.com, gaining valuable experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and business finance.
Jennifer began her professional career with KPMG, progressing from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant, where she developed strong expertise in accounting, audit, financial reporting, and advisory services across a diverse client portfolio.
