Milan, Lombardy, Italy, July 2026 — DePuy Synthes has appointed Tiziana Reina as Head of HR EMEA, effective July 1, 2026. In her new role, she will lead the human resources agenda across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as DePuy Synthes establishes itself as a new independent organization following its separation from Johnson & Johnson.
As Head of HR EMEA, Tiziana will be responsible for shaping the organization’s people strategy, culture, leadership capability, talent agenda, and organizational identity during a pivotal phase of transformation and growth.
Prior to assuming this role, Tiziana served as Head of HR – Johnson & Johnson MedTech Italy and OneHR Italy, Greece & Israel at Johnson & Johnson, where she led the HR strategy for the MedTech business while overseeing OneHR operations across multiple countries.
Earlier, she was Head of HR Pharma, EMEA Strategy Organisation at Janssen Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), partnering with senior regional leaders to drive strategic capability building, talent management, organizational transformation, and change initiatives across the EMEA region.
Before that, Tiziana served as Head of Talent Acquisition EMEA at Johnson & Johnson, leading regional talent acquisition strategy and strengthening recruitment capabilities across multiple markets.
She also held the role of Head of HR Pharma – Italy, Greece & Israel at Janssen Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), where she led HR transformation, organizational design, leadership coaching, workforce capability development, and business partnering while serving on the local Board of Directors and the cluster HR leadership team.
Tiziana spent more than 11 years with The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, progressing through several HR leadership roles including Senior HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner, Total Rewards & Talent Management Professional, and HR Specialist. During this period, she led strategic workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, labour relations, diversity and inclusion initiatives, HR governance, and M&A-related people integration projects.
Earlier in her career, she worked as HR Specialist (Organization & Development) at Fiera Milano SpA, Junior Consultant at Resolweb srl, and Assistant Researcher at SDA Bocconi School of Management, contributing to research and consulting projects focused on organization design, performance management, coaching, and human resources management.
