Chicago, Illinois, United States, July 2026 — Huron has appointed Tammy Heller as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), bringing on board a seasoned HR executive with more than 25 years of global leadership experience across professional services, technology, financial services, and public companies.
Tammy joins Huron from Gartner, where she served as Executive Partner, CHRO Advisory Practice. In this role, she advised chief human resources officers and executive leadership teams on talent strategy, organizational design, succession planning, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and business transformation. She partnered with senior executives across global organizations to help align human capital strategies with long-term business performance and organizational growth.
Prior to Gartner, Tammy served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Kontoor Brands, Inc., where she was a member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO. She led the global HR strategy for the newly established public company following its spin-off from VF Corporation, overseeing talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational design, total rewards, diversity, equity and inclusion, HR operations, payroll, and HR business partnering across global markets.
Earlier, Tammy was Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President at Perspecta, where she led the people strategy for a newly merged public company with approximately 14,000 employees across the United States. She directed all aspects of human resources, including executive and non-executive talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, talent management, diversity and inclusion, organizational development, HR operations, and business partnerships. During her tenure, she was recognized as the 2020 Washington Executive Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year (Public Company).
Before Perspecta, Tammy spent more than three years with CGI as Vice President, Global Human Resources, leading the company’s Global Human Resources Centers of Excellence and developing global HR strategies across talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, talent management, global mobility, mergers and acquisitions integration, and workforce planning for an organization operating in more than 40 countries.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions at Capital One as Vice President, Human Resources, Freddie Mac as Vice President, Credit Division Governance and Oversight, and BearingPoint as Global Human Resources Director, building extensive expertise in strategic HR leadership, organizational transformation, governance, executive talent management, and business partnership.
