Timisoara, Romania, July 2026 — Schaeffler has expanded the leadership responsibilities of Bogdan Novacov, appointing him as Vice President, Global HR Digitalization & Shared Services, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a future-ready HR organization through digital transformation, shared services, governance, and artificial intelligence.
In his expanded role, Novacov will lead Schaeffler’s global strategy for HR digitalization and shared services, driving standardized, scalable, efficient, and compliant HR operations worldwide. He will oversee governance, technology adoption, AI-enabled HR capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the company’s global HR operating model following the integration of Vitesco Technologies.
Prior to this expanded appointment, Novacov served as Vice President, Global HR Digitalization & Standards at Schaeffler, where he led HR digitalization, governance, HR IT strategy, AI and automation governance, HR data management, and global transformation initiatives following the merger between Schaeffler and Vitesco Technologies. He played a pivotal role in harmonizing HR processes, establishing enterprise governance frameworks, and developing scalable digital HR capabilities across the global organization.
Before joining Schaeffler, Novacov spent more than four years at Vitesco Technologies, where he held leadership roles including Head of Global HR Systems & Europe People Services and Head of People Technology. During this period, he led the global implementation of SAP SuccessFactors, modernized HR technology infrastructure, enhanced employee experience through digital platforms, and managed global HR systems integration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he spent over eight years with Continental, leading HR transformation programs, payroll shared services, HR operations centers, SAP HCM and SuccessFactors implementations, and large-scale HR process optimization initiatives supporting more than 21,000 employees. These experiences established his expertise in HR shared services, digital transformation, HR operations, governance, and enterprise technology implementation.
With more than 16 years of HR transformation and technology leadership experience, Novacov has built deep expertise in HR Digital Transformation, Shared Services, HR Technology, SAP SuccessFactors, HR Governance, Artificial Intelligence, HR Operations, Global HR Systems, Process Standardization, HR Data Management, Change Management, Program Management, Workforce Digitalization, Service Delivery, and Enterprise HR Transformation.
His expanded leadership role reflects Schaeffler’s continued investment in digital innovation and intelligent HR capabilities as the company advances its global transformation agenda.
