Laval, Quebec, Canada, July 2026 — Glencore has appointed Jean-Marc Ducharme as Regional Lead, Procurement & Supply Chain – North America, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to enhance procurement excellence and supply chain resilience across its North American operations.
In his new role, Jean-Marc will lead the regional procurement and supply chain strategy across Glencore’s complex, asset-intensive operations. He will be responsible for driving operational excellence across strategic sourcing, category management, procurement operations, logistics, inventory management, supplier performance, and supply chain resilience, while strengthening supplier partnerships and supporting sustainable business growth across the region.
Jean-Marc brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain transformation, and operational excellence across manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, technology, consulting, and industrial sectors.
Prior to joining Glencore, he served as Senior Director – Global Procurement & Supply Management at CAE, where he led global procurement and supply chain organizations managing more than US$1 billion in addressable spend across complex international operations. During his tenure, he successfully transformed the global procurement organization through organizational redesign, digital enablement, capability building, and process optimization while delivering more than 20% in cost savings and cost avoidance despite significant inflationary pressures and global supply chain disruptions.
Earlier, Jean-Marc served as Senior Director – Sourcing & Procurement at McKesson, where he played a key role in modernizing sourcing and procurement operations, strengthening procurement governance, improving supplier management, and supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives within the healthcare sector.
Before McKesson, he was Head of Global Procurement at ALDO Group, where he established a world-class strategic sourcing organization, expanded procurement governance, increased spend under management to 85%, and delivered an average of 19% hard savings across multiple procurement categories over three years.
Jean-Marc also spent more than eight years at CGI as Director – Global Procurement, leading the transformation of the company’s decentralized procurement organization into a globally integrated Source-to-Pay operating model spanning North America, Europe, Morocco, and India. His earlier career includes leadership and consulting roles with Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, McKesson Canada, Nortel Networks, National Bank of Canada, and CGI.
