Toronto, Ontario, Canada, July 2026 — The Adecco Group has appointed Britta Kroupa as Country Head of Adecco Canada, in addition to her current role as Group Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Americas. In her expanded leadership role, Britta will continue leading the human resources strategy across North and South America, while also assuming responsibility for the Canadian business. She will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen customer relationships, accelerate business growth, develop organizational capability, and ensure that people, culture, and business performance remain tightly aligned. Her appointment underscores The Adecco Group’s belief that, in a people business, people strategy is business strategy.

Britta has served as Group Senior Vice President, Human Resources – Americas and Head of HR, Adecco North America since 2025, where she leads regional HR strategy across Adecco Group’s businesses throughout the Americas. In this role, she partners with division presidents and executive leadership to align talent, organizational capability, workforce planning, leadership development, rewards, talent acquisition, and talent development with long-term business priorities.

Prior to joining The Adecco Group, Britta founded Bright Leadership Coaching & Consulting, providing executive coaching, HR strategy consulting, leadership assessments, keynote speaking, and organizational development services. During the same period, she also served as a Senior Associate HR Consultant with Ahria Consulting, advising organizations on strategic people initiatives.

Earlier, Britta spent more than five years with Philips, serving as Senior Vice President Human Resources – North America, where she led the HR function supporting approximately 18,000 employees across the United States and Canada. She partnered directly with the North America CEO and executive leadership team, leading organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, talent strategy, and transformation initiatives.

Before transitioning into the North America HR leadership role, Britta served as Vice President and Managing Director, Philips Canada, leading the company’s Canadian operations with responsibility for a business generating more than US$500 million in revenue and an organization of over 600 employees. During her tenure, she led Philips Canada’s strategic transformation into a health technology company and received the Global CEO Award for Leadership in 2021.

Britta previously spent more than 21 years with 3M, holding a broad range of senior commercial, operational, and business leadership roles. She served as Executive Director, Health Care Business Group, Executive Director, Consumer Business Group, Global Business Services Deployment Manager, Director, Business Services, Sales Excellence Leader, National Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Account Representative, Public Relations Supervisor, and Customer Service Representative. Across these leadership assignments, she gained extensive experience in general management, P&L leadership, sales, marketing, customer operations, shared services, transformation, commercial excellence, and business growth.

Her unique combination of executive business leadership and global HR leadership positions her exceptionally well to lead both the Canadian business and the broader people agenda across the Americas.

Across nearly three decades of international leadership experience, Britta has developed extensive expertise in Business Leadership, Strategic Human Resources, Organizational Transformation, Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Organizational Design, Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, Change Management, Culture Transformation, Business Operations, Commercial Leadership, Shared Services, Sales Excellence, Customer Experience, Executive Leadership, and People Strategy.

Education: Britta Kroupa holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) in Marketing and Organizational Behaviour from McGill University – Desautels Faculty of Management. She also completed the prestigious Chief Human Resources Officer Program at Wharton Executive Education, further strengthening her expertise in strategic HR leadership and executive people management.
