Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Welspun Living Limited has elevated Rakhi Shukla to the role of Deputy General Manager – Business HR Head | Domestic Home Textile & Flooring Business, recognizing her strong leadership and strategic contribution to the organization’s people agenda.
The elevation follows Rakhi’s successful tenure as Interim Head HR, where she led the entire HR function for the Domestic Home Textile & Flooring Business following a leadership transition. Her confirmation into the permanent role reflects Welspun Living’s confidence in her ability to drive strategic human resources initiatives, strengthen organizational capability, and support business growth.
Rakhi has demonstrated an impressive growth journey within Welspun Living since joining the organization in 2024. She began as Lead Sales HRBP before being entrusted with an expanded mandate to lead the Enabling HRBP portfolio across the Domestic Business. Her responsibilities were subsequently broadened to include Talent Acquisition, recognizing her ability to lead both strategic HR business partnering and hiring initiatives. Following her appointment as Interim Head HR in early 2026, she successfully ensured seamless business continuity and led the HR function across the Domestic Home Textile & Flooring Business. Her latest elevation to Deputy General Manager – Business HR Head marks another significant milestone in her leadership journey.
Prior to joining Welspun Living, Rakhi spent nearly seven years with Lactalis Group as Senior Manager – Commercial HR & Talent Acquisition, where she led commercial HR partnering, talent acquisition, talent management, and leadership development initiatives. Earlier in her career, she served as HR Manager at Bajaj Processpack Limited, overseeing HR operations across talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, training, HRIS, and administration. She also held the role of Senior Executive – Human Resources at Group Tech India Pvt. Ltd., building strong expertise across core HR functions and organizational development.
Rakhi holds an MBA in Human Resources from GLA University and brings over 17 years of experience across HR business partnering, talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and people strategy.
