Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, November 2025 — The HOYTS Group has appointed Jodi Paton as its inaugural Chief People and Transformation Officer (CPTO), effective immediately. The newly established executive role has been created to lead the next phase of the organisation’s evolution, combining people strategy with enterprise transformation to support HOYTS’ long-term growth and innovation agenda.
Jodi has been a key member of the HOYTS leadership team for more than 13 years and brings extensive expertise in human resources, organisational development, culture, leadership capability, and business transformation. As Chief People and Transformation Officer, she will oversee the company’s people strategy while driving transformational initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, employee experience, and business performance across the HOYTS Group.
Prior to her appointment, Jodi served as Chief People Officer at HOYTS Group, where she led the organisation’s people and culture strategy. Earlier, she held the roles of Director – People, Performance and Culture and General Manager – People, Performance & Culture, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s leadership capability, organisational culture, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives throughout a period of significant business growth and industry change.
Before joining HOYTS, Jodi was Learning & Development Manager, Australia and HR Business Partner – NSW at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she led learning, leadership development, and HR partnering initiatives. She also spent several years with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in a series of talent development and human resources leadership roles, including Director – Talent Development, Manager – Talent Development (NSW/ACT), Manager – Talent Development (Victoria), and Human Resources Manager. Earlier in her career, she served as Training and Development Coordinator at The Australian National University, building a strong foundation in organisational learning and capability development.
Jodi holds a Master’s Degree in Organisational Development & Training from Southern Cross University and a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology from Western Sydney University, reflecting her longstanding commitment to leadership development, organisational effectiveness, and people performance.
