SYC Limited Appoints Kia Logan as Chief People Officer

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, August 2026 — SYC Limited has appointed Kia Logan as its Chief People Officer, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to building a people-first culture as it continues its mission of supporting Australians to achieve sustainable independence and wellbeing.

Kia brings more than 24 years of human resources and organisational leadership experience across the community services, local government, healthcare, construction, and recruitment sectors. In her new role, she will lead SYC Limited’s people strategy, focusing on talent, culture, leadership development, organisational capability, and workforce transformation to support the organisation’s continued growth and community impact.

Prior to joining SYC Limited, Kia served as Divisional Head, People and Performance at the City of Salisbury, where she led the council’s people and performance function. Alongside this executive role, she continues to serve as a Non-Executive Director with Royal Life Saving – Australia, contributing to the organisation’s national strategic direction. She also previously served as Vice President of the Royal Life Saving Society – South Australia, providing strategic governance and leadership.

Earlier in her career, Kia was Head of Human Resources at Mayne Pharma, where she led the organisation’s people agenda. Before that, she held the role of Human Resources Manager at McConnell Dowell. She also spent more than 11 years with the Weeks Group, progressing through several senior HR leadership positions, including National Human Resources Manager, Group Human Resources and Corporate Services Manager, and Human Resources and WHS Manager, playing a key role in organisational development, workforce capability, and corporate services.

Her earlier experience includes leadership roles with Weeks Building Group, Credo Group, Advantage Recruitment, and Stellar Asia Pacific, building deep expertise across strategic human resources, organisational development, workforce planning, employee relations, leadership, and business transformation.

Kia is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Australian Institute of Business and previously completed the AHRI Practising Certification Program through the Australian HR Institute, further strengthening her expertise in strategic human resource leadership.
