Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2026 —Arindam Chakraborty has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Saatvik Solar. In his new role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, organizational transformation, leadership development, talent management, and culture initiatives, supporting Saatvik Solar’s continued expansion as one of India’s leading solar manufacturing companies.
With nearly 30 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, learning, talent management, and business transformation, Arindam Chakraborty brings deep leadership expertise across the renewable energy, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, consumer goods, technology, and aerospace sectors. His appointment comes at a pivotal stage in Saatvik Solar’s growth as the company expands its manufacturing capabilities to support India’s renewable energy ambitions.
Prior to joining Saatvik Solar, Arindam Chakraborty served as Senior Vice President & Head – Global HR at Vikram Solar, where he led organization design, workforce planning for large capital expansion projects, succession planning, leadership capability building, and the implementation of ESOP initiatives aligned with the company’s IPO journey. He had earlier served as CHRO & Group Head – HR at Vikram Solar, overseeing people strategy, workplace digitization, corporate communications, and CSR initiatives. His career also includes a brief tenure as Vice President – HR & Head of Organization Development and Learning at Ashok Leyland.
Earlier in his career, Arindam Chakraborty held several prominent HR leadership positions, including Head – Customer Experience and Head – HR, Global Commercial Organization at Royal Enfield, Head of Human Resources at Eicher Polaris, Chief Human Resources Officer at Aviotech, Head of Corporate HR at Britannia Industries Limited, Assistant Vice President – Human Resources at Genpact, Lead Capability Development Manager at Coca-Cola India, Personnel Officer at Mitsubishi Chemicals PTA India, and Assistant Manager – Personnel at Shaw Wallace Ceylon Limited. Throughout his career, he has successfully led organizational design, capability development, succession planning, culture transformation, industrial relations, and large-scale business transformation initiatives across diverse industries.
Complementing his extensive professional experience, Arindam Chakraborty holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PM&IR) from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS). His academic background, combined with decades of strategic HR leadership, equips him to drive Saatvik Solar’s next phase of organizational growth and talent excellence.
