Seattle, Washington, United States, August 2026 — AppLovin has promoted Robby Carre to Head of People, recognizing his leadership in building and scaling the company’s people operations as it continues its rapid global growth.
Robby has been with AppLovin for the past three years, progressing through increasingly senior leadership roles. Prior to his promotion, he served as Director, People Operations, after previously holding the position of Senior Manager, People Operations. As Head of People, he will lead the company’s global people strategy, overseeing people operations, talent initiatives, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and programs that support AppLovin’s continued business expansion.
Before joining AppLovin, Robby served as Global People Operations & Programs Leader at City Storage Systems, where he led global people operations and workforce programs. Earlier, he spent nearly nine years at Amazon, holding a series of leadership positions across compensation, incentives, recruiting, and HR services. His roles included Programs & Operations Leader – Worldwide Compensation & Incentives, Recruiting Leader – Physical Stores, Recruiting Manager – EMEA HR Services, and Recruiting – G&A, HR4HR, where he contributed to large-scale talent acquisition, people operations, and workforce strategy across multiple global markets.
Robby began his professional career as an Executive Recruitment Research Intern at DHR International, laying the foundation for a career focused on talent, people operations, and organizational leadership.
His promotion reflects AppLovin’s commitment to developing internal leadership and strengthening its people function to support the company’s next phase of innovation and growth.
