Los Angeles, USA, May 2024 – SKIMS is excited to announce the appointment of Emily Podsadecki as the new Director of Human Resources for Retail. With extensive experience spanning over a decade in various leadership roles within the retail sector, Emily is set to drive human resources initiatives that align with SKIMS’s innovative and inclusive culture.
Before her move to SKIMS, Emily served at Foot Locker, where she notably advanced through several pivotal roles from February 2020 to May 2024. Most recently, she was the Regional Human Resources Director for the West & South regions. In this capacity, Emily oversaw HR operations for over 460 Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports locations, managing a team member population of over 7,500 across multiple states. Her achievements include leading significant seminars and contributing to community outreach initiatives, such as the Fred Jordan Missions Back to School Giveaway.
Earlier, Emily excelled as the Executive Team Lead of Human Resources at Target. During her tenure, she was responsible for HR operations across Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties and was recognized for her exceptional contribution to Stores Modernization priorities, significantly boosting team engagement.
Earlier in her career, Emily was a Store Manager at Michael Kors from October 2015 to March 2017, where she opened the largest store in the western half of the United States for the Lifestyle Division and spearheaded several key initiatives, including the launch of a store order fulfillment pilot.
