Giza, Egypt, May 2024 – blnk is thrilled to announce that Wafaa Elnagdy has joined the company as the new Chief People Officer. With more than two decades of experience in human resources across various industries, Wafaa is set to lead blnk’s people strategy, fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.
Before joining blnk, Wafaa served as a Human Resources Consultant at Sky Developments, where she built the company’s structure, recruited key team members, and developed policies and procedures.
Earlier, Wafaa was the People/Culture & Shared Services Director at BasharSoft, overseeing the HR, IT, and administrative functions. She was instrumental in leading organizational redesign programs, implementing performance management frameworks, and deploying training and development solutions. Her efforts contributed to BasharSoft’s successful relocation to new offices and the development of a comprehensive budgeting and reporting system.
In her role as HR Director at Egyptian Resorts Company (ERC) from February 2019 to April 2020, Wafaa played a key role in restructuring the organization, optimizing headcount, and improving HR policies and procedures. She also deployed a performance management system that helped align organizational goals with individual performance.
Wafaa also served as an HR Consultant, working with clients in various industries like architecture, software technology, FMCG, real estate, and construction. Her notable achievements include positions at WADI Group, ITWorx, Al Mansour Holding, Juhayna Food Industries, Abudawood Food & Beverage, and Procter & Gamble, where she consistently delivered impactful HR strategies.
