Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, May 2024 – Davie Gow has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at Arnold Clark. Davie brings a wealth of experience and innovation to the team, marking an exciting chapter for the company. As first days go, it was a joy for Davie to meet some of the team at the stunning head office building.
Davie Gow’s most recent role was as Head of Technology Strategy & Innovation at Leidos, where he served for approximately eight years. He led technology strategy and innovation, managing solution architecture and the UK digital accelerator.
Before that, he was the Chief Architect – Civil Division UK & Deputy UK CTO at Leidos, holding this position for about two years. He played a crucial role in driving technological advancements and digital transformation within the division.
Davie also served as the Chief Architect – Devolved Government and Energy at Leidos for nearly a year. In this role, he oversaw technology strategies for government and energy sectors, contributing significantly to the company’s growth in these areas.
Earlier, he was the Scottish Government Digital Fellow (CTO) for around seven months, where he focused on enhancing digital strategies and frameworks within the government sector.

Davie Gow has held various other positions, including roles at Lockheed Martin, CalMac Ferries Limited, Disclosure Scotland, Sage, Tesco Bank, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Environment Agency, and several other organizations. In these roles, he demonstrated his expertise in technology strategy, solution architecture, and digital transformation, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the companies he served.
