Ashish Kakkar Joins Polycab India Limited as CHRO and Executive President

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – Ashish Kakkar has recently joined Polycab India Limited as the CHRO and Executive President. In his new role, Ashish will be responsible for leading the human resources function and driving strategic HR initiatives to support the company’s growth and development.

Ashish’s most recent role was at ICICI Home Finance Company Limited, where he served as CHRO for nearly seven years. During his tenure, he led the HR function, driving initiatives in business partnering, change management, leadership development, and operational excellence.

Before ICICI Home Finance, Ashish worked at ICICI Bank as JGM HR. In this role, he focused on enhancing HR operations and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Ashish also held the position of Head HR at 3i Infotech Ltd., where he was responsible for the global HR function. His efforts were crucial in developing HR policies and strategies that supported the company’s international operations.

Prior to his tenure at 3i Infotech, Ashish was the Senior Vice President & Head – Human Resources at ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd. for over nine years. He oversaw human resources and administration functions, with a specific focus on organization development, employee engagement, and training.

Earlier in his career, Ashish worked at PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt Ltd as HR Capability Manager, where he managed organizational capability and development functions for the West Market unit.
