Osnabrück, Germany, May 2024 – Arne Janssen has recently joined Paracelsus Kliniken as the Head of Human Resources, Legal & Compliance. In his new role, Arne will oversee HR operations, legal affairs, and compliance, focusing on enhancing organizational efficiency and fostering a culture of excellence within the company.
Arne’s most recent role was at Schön Klinik, where he served as Head of Human Resources for nearly three years. He was responsible for all HR functions, with a special focus on recruitment, culture building, and the digitalization of HR processes. Arne also ensured labor relations with trade unions and works councils, and implemented a new competitive salary structure for all employees.
Before Schön Klinik, Arne worked at WeylChem Group of Companies as Head of HR Operations International Chemical Investors Group for two and a half years. His role involved talent management, succession planning, and maintaining labor relations with trade unions and works councils.
Arne also held the position of Head of HR Operations at International Chemical Investors Group for over five years. He was responsible for strategic HR planning, driving change management, organizational development, and leading negotiations with works councils and unions, especially during restructuring scenarios.
Prior to his tenure at ICIG, Arne worked at DB Schenker as Director Global Employment Law, Mobility, Compensation & Benefits. His responsibilities included setting up global HR policies, managing employees’ global mobility, and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Arne held various roles at Deutsche Bahn, including Lawyer Corporate Employment Law and Manager Business Development. He was responsible for compliance with employment laws, improving employee relations, leading HR projects, and conducting due diligences.
Paracelsus Kliniken is one of Germany’s largest private hospital operators, with 28 facilities across 16 locations. The group employs around 3,500 staff members who annually care for nearly 50,000 inpatients. The corporate headquarters and administration are based in Osnabrück.
