New York, United States, January 2026 —Prosperity Life Group has welcomed industry veteran Nicholas Volpe to the organization as Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing its commitment to digital innovation and operational excellence.
Volpe brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning technology, operations, business strategy and large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the insurance and financial services sectors. In his new role, he will oversee enterprise technology strategy, modernization programs, digital enablement and platform innovation to support Prosperity Life Group’s long-term growth and customer-centric objectives.
Prior to joining Prosperity Life, Volpe served as Chief Technology Officer at American Equity, where he led technology transformation initiatives and enterprise modernization efforts across core insurance platforms and digital capabilities.
Earlier, he held multiple senior leadership roles at Guardian Life, including CIO of Individual Markets & Head of Enterprise Customer Technology, and previously CIO, Life Products & Distribution. During his tenure, he led large-scale technology portfolios, mobilized cross-functional teams, implemented Agile methodologies, and introduced API-driven distribution strategies to support revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Before Guardian, Volpe held executive technology leadership roles at AXA, including COO & CIO of AXA Global Distributors, where he drove global distribution platform implementations across Europe and Asia. He also served as Senior Information Officer at AXA Equitable and Senior Vice President at AXA Distributors, LLC, leading wholesale distribution technology strategy and driving significant sales growth through digital enablement.
He began his career in consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), building a strong foundation in advisory and enterprise transformation.
His appointment reflects Prosperity Life Group’s continued investment in strengthening its leadership bench and enhancing its technology capabilities to better serve policyholders and distribution partners.
