Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, September 2025 — Abdullah R. Altuwaijri has been appointed as the Head of Human Capital Governance and Policies at Bank AlJazira, where he will oversee HR governance frameworks, policy development, and compliance practices to strengthen the bank’s human capital strategy.
Abdullah joins Bank AlJazira from The Saudi Investment Bank, where he served as Senior Manager, Internal Audit Group. In this role, he was responsible for managing audit functions and ensuring robust internal control systems to align with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Before that, he held the position of Vice President – Control Function, Corporate Banking Division at Riyad Bank, where he played a key role in enhancing governance and control practices across the bank’s corporate banking operations.
Earlier in 2023, Abdullah briefly served as Head of Audit Section at NCECKSA, further expanding his experience in governance and audit oversight. His longest tenure was at Al Rajhi Bank, where he spent over three years in governance leadership roles, including Head of Governance, Marketing & Customer Experience Group and Head of Governance, Shared Services Group. He was also a Member of the Innovation Committee, contributing to initiatives aimed at modernizing the bank’s services.
Abdullah began his career with the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), where he worked for six years as a Policy Analyst and later as Senior Policy Analyst. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in policy formulation, governance structures, and stakeholder engagement.
