Mumbai, May 2024 – Abhijeet Maheshwari has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at Piramal Realty. In this role, he will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic growth and customer-centric vision.
Maheshwari brings over 18 years of experience in real estate to his new role. Most recently, he served as Business Head – West at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd from 2019 to 2024, overseeing the P&L across commercial, affordable, and premium housing product lines in the region. He was also Head – Real Estate at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited from 2014 to 2019, responsible for business development, sales and marketing, and operations.
Before that, Maheshwari held various leadership positions at Tata Realty and Infrastructure, including Head – Business Development (2013-2014), DGM – Business Development (2010-2013), and AGM – Business Development (2008-2010). He was instrumental in sourcing, evaluating, and closing complex transactions involving both greenfield and brownfield assets. He also played a key role in raising international funds and managing debt for post-closure transactions.
Maheshwari began his career at Tata Realty and Infrastructure in 2007 as a Manager. Prior to joining Tata Realty, he was a part of the Tata Administrative Services program.
