New Delhi, Delhi, India, August 2025 – India Today Group has announced the appointment of Abhinav Sharma as Vice President and National Sales Head, marking a significant leadership addition to the organisation’s sales and business strategy team. In his new role, Sharma will spearhead national sales initiatives, strengthen advertiser relationships, and drive revenue growth across the group’s diverse media platforms.
Sharma brings over 17 years of experience in the media industry, having most recently served as Vice President and National Sales Head at Republic World, where he successfully led large-scale sales operations and strategic partnerships.
Before that, he was Regional Head Sales – North at Zee Media Corporation Limited, overseeing sales growth and client engagement in one of the company’s key markets.
Previously, Sharma served as Associate Vice President – Ad Sales at NDTV, where he contributed to revenue expansion through innovative ad sales strategies and a strong focus on client relationship management.
His earlier career includes roles as Account Director – Ad Sales at CNN-News18 and Assistant Manager – Ad Sales at Disney Star, where he honed his expertise in broadcast media sales. He began his career in sales with The Times of India as Assistant Manager and later worked with Adlabs Films Limited (Big 92.7 FM Radio) as BDR, building a strong foundation in print and radio media sales.
