In this expanded national leadership mandate, he now drives Linear TV agency partnerships, deepens strategic relationships with major media agency groups, and accelerates integrated revenue opportunities across JioStar’s broad and rapidly scaling content ecosystem.
In his most recent role as Associate Director & National Head – Agency Partnerships for JioStar Entertainment, Abhishek B. led strategic collaboration with top global agency networks including Omnicom Media Group, IPG Mediabrands, Dentsu, and DDB Mudra, delivering integrated media solutions across digital and television. Before that, he strengthened advertiser engagement for JioStar Sports, building high-impact brand experiences across CTV, Linear TV, and mobile during major sporting events.
Earlier, Abhishek B. built a strong legacy at Disney Star, where he grew from Manager to Associate Director – Ad Sales, Star Sports. During this period, he drove several iconic media integrations and marquee advertiser partnerships for brands such as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Boost, Parle, Tata Neu, and Audi, while leading regional markets, innovating sports-advertising formats, and strengthening network monetization across India’s largest sports broadcaster.
Before Disney Star, Abhishek B. held leadership and revenue-driving roles across ITW Consulting, Bloomberg TV India, Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group), ABP Pvt Ltd, HT Media, and Ushakiron Movies, where he led profit centers, launched market editions, strengthened financial-category advertising, and delivered 360° media solutions across print, broadcast, digital, and on-ground platforms—shaping him into a versatile media-sales strategist with deep multi-platform expertise.
Across his journey, Abhishek B. has also strengthened his academic foundation with an E-PGDBM in Marketing Management from SIES College of Management Studies, and a Bachelor of Mass Media from SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science & Commerce, building the marketing, media, and communication fundamentals that continue to complement his strategic leadership in India’s dynamic media ecosystem.
