Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Abhishek Gupta has joined Workday as Director – Alliances & Partner Development, strengthening the company’s APAC Alliances & Channels team as it expands its footprint in the India region.
With over two decades of international experience in building and scaling strategic partnerships, Abhishek brings a rich blend of business acumen and ecosystem leadership from his tenure at ServiceNow, Infor, NetSuite, Oracle Corporation, Wipro, and IBM. A recognized thought leader and partnership architect, he has led multi-region alliance strategies across JAPAC and EMEA, driving impactful collaborations with global industry leaders such as AWS, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, HCL, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and EY. His deep specialization in partner enablement, global alliances, and go-to-market strategy will be key to accelerating Workday’s partner-led growth journey in Asia Pacific.
Before joining Workday, Abhishek served as Director of Partnerships & Business Development at Job for Guide, a Poland-based travel marketplace, where he led European market expansion and ecosystem alliances. He also took a brief career sabbatical to focus on family, a period that strengthened his perspective on empathy and leadership.
Earlier, during his role as Director, APAC – Global Alliances & Channels at ServiceNow, he spearheaded GSI expansion and partner-led innovation across the Asia Pacific region. His leadership at Infor, as Director of Alliances for MEA, ASEAN, Japan & India, was marked by over 120% revenue growth through strategic alliances and market expansion. Abhishek’s earlier career at Oracle, Wipro, and IBM saw him develop large-scale partner ecosystems, manage global alliance programs, and lead transformational go-to-market initiatives across cloud, SaaS, and analytics domains.
Beyond the corporate sphere, Abhishek is a guest lecturer at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), sharing insights on Cybersecurity, Agentic AI, and Customer Experience (CX). He is also a frequent speaker at SaaS, Hyperscaler, and AI leadership forums, known for blending innovation, inclusivity, and cross-cultural collaboration in his approach to ecosystem leadership.
His appointment comes at a defining time as Workday India launches its regional operations, underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its partner ecosystem and fostering value-driven collaborations across industries.
