Thane, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Shivani Sharma Rai has been appointed as the Vice President – People Solution Placement at Lockton, bringing extensive expertise in employee benefits operations, claims management, and client servicing. In her new role, Shivani will focus on enhancing people solutions and driving client satisfaction across the organization.
Prior to joining Lockton, Shivani Sharma Rai served as Deputy Manager at Aditya Birla Group for approximately 14 years, where she led employee benefits operations, claims servicing, and policy renewals. Her contributions included overseeing a team of six and ensuring service-level agreement (SLA) adherence for enrollment, claim processing, and query resolution, along with training team members on underwriting and policy terms.
Before her tenure at Aditya Birla Group, she worked as Assistant Manager at First Policy Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. for nearly two years, managing insurance claim services and client relations. Earlier, she served as Deputy Manager at Reliance Communications for approximately 1.5 years, where she managed a team of 37 executives handling customer retention, service quality, and escalation management.
