Hyderabad, Telangana, India, November 2025 – Sanofi, a leading R&D-driven, AI-powered global biopharma company, has announced the appointment of Abhishek Mittal as Head of Operational Readiness – Manufacturing & Supply Services. Based in Hyderabad, Abhishek will be responsible for driving global transitions across Sanofi’s manufacturing and supply operations with a strong focus on value creation, thoughtful risk-taking, and end-to-end transformation readiness.
Before joining Sanofi, Abhishek Mittal served as Vice President and Head – Project Management Office (PMO) at Neuland Laboratories Limited for over four years. During his tenure, he transformed the organization’s project management culture, leading high-impact programs focused on execution excellence, first-time-right delivery, and enhanced customer satisfaction. His leadership in governance frameworks, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency positioned Neuland as an agile, future-ready organization.
Prior to Neuland, Abhishek was General Manager – Strategy & Excellence | Enterprise Risk & Operations at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, where he delivered strategic priorities for India and led global business-critical programs. He also spearheaded enterprise risk management frameworks across the APAC region, driving performance management and productivity improvements through strong governance and cross-functional leadership.
Earlier in his career, Abhishek spent over five years at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he served as Associate Director – Systems and Program Management (Biologics) and Project Manager, leading clinical and R&D project management operations. He established robust systems and governance models, enabling seamless execution of global development programs and contributing to business transformation initiatives.
He also held leadership roles at Syngene International Limited, where he managed the Biocon-Bristol Myers Squibb R&D Center (BBRC) alliance, driving operational excellence, productivity improvement, and strategic business alignment. His career began at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where he managed critical product development and market delivery projects for EU and India.
