Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2026 – Amit Malik has been appointed as Vice President – People & Culture, India & South Asia at Accor, where he will lead the organization’s HR strategy and workforce operations across the region. In this role, he will focus on strengthening people practices, enhancing employee experience, and enabling business growth through strategic talent initiatives.
Prior to joining Accor, Amit Malik served as President – Japan, Asia Pacific & Australia at WadzPay, where he led regional operations and growth initiatives across multiple international markets, bringing a strong blend of business leadership and transformation experience.
Before that, he held key leadership roles at Aviva India, including serving as Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, where he drove business performance and strategic direction. Earlier at Aviva, he also served as Chief People, Operations & Customer Services Officer and Chief People Officer, building deep expertise across HR leadership, operations, and customer-centric transformation.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Bank of America as Vice President & HR Business Partner, where he led HR for large-scale operations supporting thousands of employees across India. He also held leadership roles at ABN AMRO Bank, American Express, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, building a strong foundation in HR strategy, business partnering, and organizational development.
