Cairo, Egypt, January 2025 — Ahmad Youssef Salah-AlDin has been appointed as the Chief People Officer (CPO) and Board Member at Al Gammal Group, overseeing the organization’s people strategy across Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq, and Central Africa. His role will focus on leading strategic human resource initiatives, enhancing organizational development, and driving leadership excellence throughout the region.
Prior to joining Al Gammal Group, Ahmad Youssef Salah-AlDin served as the Group Human Resources Projects Director at Oriental Weavers for approximately one year, where he led multiple HR transformation initiatives.
Before that, he held a Board Member role at AYS Capital for nearly four years, contributing strategic insights on human capital planning and business development.
His experience also includes working as a Senior Consultant at JOBMASTER Human Capital Solutions and Riverwaves, leading over 20 projects across the Middle East in various sectors such as FMCG, Real Estate, Energy, and Banking Services. He has expertise in compensation and benefits, total rewards strategies, organization design, and talent management.
Earlier in his career, he served as the Regional Organization Development and Total Rewards Senior Manager at Savola Group, where he managed a workforce of 4,000 employees across Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco. His accomplishments included implementing a 1 billion EGP compensation and benefits framework and driving cost optimization strategies.
