Cairo, Egypt, January 2025 – Ahmed Massoud has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Misr Digital Innovation (MDI), where he will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on organizational excellence, talent management, and cultural transformation as part of MDI’s continued growth and expansion in the Egyptian digital banking space.
Ahmed Massoud has been with Misr Digital Innovation (MDI) for approximately three and a half years, previously serving as Head of HR OD, Talent, HR Strategy & Organizational Excellence. In this capacity, he led the HR strategic planning and successfully established an HR Excellence Center from the ground up, encompassing organizational development, talent management, employer branding, performance management, and compensation strategies.

Before joining MDI, Massoud worked at Orange Business Services for nearly three years, where he served as Head of HR – Middle East & Turkey and previously as HR Business Partner – Deputy Head of HR. During his tenure, he led strategic HR initiatives across the region and oversaw leadership development and organizational transformation.
Prior to Orange, he spent over seven years at Vodafone, holding various leadership roles such as Talent & Capability Senior Manager, where he developed talent pipelines, succession plans, and capability strategies to drive organizational growth. He also held roles focusing on learning and development and customer operations, contributing significantly to the development of training programs and people management strategies.
Earlier in his career, Massoud also worked as a Talent & Capability Consultant, providing strategic HR advisory services and leadership development for clients across different sectors.
