Dhaka, Bangladesh, August 2025 – Ahmed Raquib Malik has been appointed as Chief Compliance & People Officer at Grameen HealthTech Limited (GHL). In this dual leadership role, Malik will oversee legal compliance, governance, and people strategy, ensuring that GHL’s pioneering digital health initiatives remain aligned with regulatory frameworks while building a strong organizational culture to support innovation and growth.
Malik has been with Grameen HealthTech for over a year, most recently serving as Senior Lead, Legal Compliance Admin & HR. In that role, he advanced corporate governance by drafting and managing key agreements, securing essential licenses, driving policy reforms, and supporting administrative and HR operations with a strong compliance framework. Prior to that, as Lead, Legal & Compliance, he managed complex agreements for healthcare partnerships, ensured regulatory adherence, developed policies, and spearheaded risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets and reputation.
Alongside his tenure at Grameen HealthTech, Malik has been a Partner at Malik & Associates since 2018, where he has specialized in drafting legal documents, litigation management, arbitration, and providing counsel in civil and criminal cases. His deep legal expertise has complemented his corporate compliance roles, providing him with both strategic and operational perspectives.
Earlier, he gained corporate legal experience as a Legal & Compliance Specialist at ShopUp, where he managed litigation and regulatory matters, and as a Legal Expert in the B2B, commodity, logistics, fintech, and micro-finance sectors, overseeing compliance, stakeholder engagement, and intellectual property protection. His career also includes roles as a Legal Associate at Margub Kabir & Associates, Associate at Karim & Karim Associates, and Legal Intern at Badol & Associates, where he built a strong foundation in litigation, documentation, and legal advisory work.
