With a distinguished career spanning over 27 years in financial services, Ajay brings a wealth of leadership experience in corporate finance, investment banking, project finance, and stressed asset resolution. His appointment signals a transformational phase for Areion as it aims to scale high-performance, value-driven investment strategies across both domestic and international markets.
Before joining Areion, Ajay served as Executive Director at Capri Global Capital Ltd., where he was instrumental in driving the firm’s financial services offerings and business expansion. Prior to that, he held the position of Group President – Corporate Finance at YES BANK for over 13 years, managing complex financing transactions and leading strategic initiatives across sectors.
Earlier in his career, Ajay was with ICICI Bank as Chief Manager, where he gained critical experience in structuring financial products and supporting corporate growth. He also spent six years at Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd., building a solid foundation in the energy and infrastructure domain.
With a proven track record of navigating complex financial ecosystems and executing high-value transactions, Ajay is poised to steer Areion Assets Management into its next phase of innovation, resilience, and sustainable investment performance.
