Ahmedabad, India, September 2025 — Ajay Tiwari has joined Intas Pharmaceuticals as President – Human Resources, bringing with him a wealth of experience in organizational development, change management, succession planning, and capability building. In this role, he will lead the company’s human capital strategy, fostering leadership development and strengthening Intas’ people agenda as it continues to expand globally.
Ajay previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer and VP HR at Lupin Manufacturing Solutions Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in driving HR transformation and enabling business growth. Before that, he was Chief Human Resources – Group Corporate Functions at Tata Steel, overseeing HR across India, Southeast Asia, and Europe, ensuring alignment of talent strategies with global business objectives.
Earlier in his career, Ajay worked with Unilever, where he led HR for personal care and global supply chain functions, and with Tata Motors as Assistant General Manager – HR in Pune, strengthening workforce capabilities in the automotive sector. He also held key HR leadership roles at Philips India Ltd. and began his journey with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces as an HR Officer, where he gained early experience in people operations and employee engagement.
His diverse, multi-industry background spanning pharmaceuticals, steel, consumer goods, automotive, hospitality, and electronics equips him to drive transformation, leadership pipelines, and a culture of excellence at Intas Pharmaceuticals.
