Ajman, UAE, August 2024 – Ajman Bank has announced the appointment of Hend Al Ali as its new Executive Vice-President – CHRO. A seasoned Emirati leader, Hend brings over 24 years of extensive experience in the banking industry, with a remarkable track record in Strategic HR, Change Management, and Business and HR Transformation.
Mr. Mustafa Al Khalfawi, Chief Executive Officer of Ajman Bank, said: “We are glad to welcome Ms. Hend Al Ali as our new Chief Human Resources Officer. In her previous role, Hend was Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Network International LLC, prior to that Hend’s career also includes significant leadership roles at Citibank and Mashreq Bank, where she focused on recruitment, Emiratisation, and human capital development.
Hend holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Dubai Women’s College and has furthered her expertise through specialized courses in Human Resources Management.
Established in 2007, Ajman Bank was the first Islamic bank incorporated in Ajman. The bank’s shares were listed on the Dubai Financial Market in February 2008, and it officially began operations in 2009 with two branches in Ajman. Supported by the emirate’s government, which owns 25% of the bank’s shares, Ajman Bank is headquartered in Ajman and operates branches and ATMs across the UAE. The bank is a key pillar in the emirate’s economic development strategy, offering a wide range of Shari’ah-compliant banking and financial services for individuals, businesses, and government institutions.
