São Paulo, Brazil, January 2026 — Alberto D’Angelo has started a new position as Finance Director (Chief Financial Officer) at Roche Pharma Brazil, marking a significant milestone in a long and distinguished career with the Roche Group. In this role, he will lead the finance function for Roche’s pharmaceutical business in Brazil, supporting strategic priorities and financial governance in one of the company’s key markets.
Immediately prior to this appointment, Alberto D’Angelo served as Finance Director (CFO) at Ecolab, where he was responsible for financial leadership across the Brazil business. Alongside his executive role, he also continues to serve as a Conselheiro Fiscal (Board Member) at Casa José Coltro (ONG), contributing his financial expertise in a governance capacity.
Before Ecolab, D’Angelo held senior finance leadership roles at Galderma, including Finance Director (CFO) – Latin America and Finance Director (CFO), where he supported regional growth and financial transformation initiatives across multiple markets. He also served as Finance Director (CFO) – Latin America at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, further strengthening his experience across multinational pharmaceutical organisations.
A substantial portion of his career has been with Roche, where he spent over 18 years in progressively senior roles across Brazil, Latin America, Europe, and the United States. His journey at Roche included positions such as Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management – Roche Pharma Brazil, Controlling & Financial Planning Senior Manager – Roche Pharma Brazil, and Controlling & Financial Planning Manager – Roche Pharma LATAM. He also held strategic and commercial roles including Business Strategy Manager, Oncology Product Manager, and Business Development, Mature Products & Portfolio Manager at Roche Pharma Brazil.
Earlier in his Roche career, Alberto D’Angelo gained extensive international exposure through roles at Roche HQ in Basel, Roche Germany, and Roche Carolina (USA), working across global FP&A, controlling, integration projects, and manufacturing finance. He began his professional journey at Roche Pharma Brazil as a Treasury & Financial Analyst, laying a strong foundation in pharmaceutical finance and operations.
