Auckland, New Zealand, March 2025 – Alesha Keeler has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer – New Zealand and Pacific (NZPAC) at QBE Insurance, marking a new chapter in her distinguished career in finance and leadership across the insurance and financial services sectors. In this new role, she will oversee financial operations and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen QBE’s financial position and growth in the region.
Alesha has been an integral part of QBE Insurance for nearly three years, previously serving as the Head of Finance – NZPAC, where she played a key role in optimizing financial performance, reporting, and operational efficiency across the business.

Prior to joining QBE, Alesha spent over eight years at Allianz Partners New Zealand, where she held dual leadership roles as Finance Director and later as Finance/Operations Director – Company Director. During her tenure, she was instrumental in driving cross-functional improvements, overseeing compliance, and aligning financial strategy with business expansion goals.
Earlier in her career, she held senior roles including Finance Manager at Charles Parsons and Finance Manager at Macquarie NZ Limited, further building her expertise in financial strategy, planning, and governance. Her experience also includes a foundational role as Commercial Consultant at Hewlett-Packard NZ, where she contributed to enterprise-level commercial analysis and operational planning.
