Montreal, Quebec, Canada, September 2025 — Thread Collective Inc. (TCI) has announced the appointment of Alex Salvaggio as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With nearly two decades of progressive financial leadership experience, Salvaggio will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
Salvaggio has been with Thread Collective Inc. for over three years, most recently serving as Vice President Finance, where he led financial planning, analysis, and executive decision-making to support the company’s expansion in the North American apparel and accessories market.
He also serves as a Foundation Board Member at Loyola High School of Montreal, contributing his expertise to educational and community initiatives. Before joining TCI, Salvaggio was VP Finance & Strategy at EPIQ Machinery, where he oversaw financial planning and corporate strategy across its manufacturing operations.
Previously, he spent nearly four years at Weir Minerals, where he held the role of Finance Manager and later took on responsibilities as SAP FICO Regional Super User, leading M&A financial analysis, budgeting, and SAP transformation across North American operations.
Salvaggio also built his early career at Velan Inc., where he advanced to Corporate Finance & Budgeting Manager, managing consolidation for 13 subsidiaries and spearheading international budgeting processes. His career began as a Senior Auditor at KPMG Canada before moving into financial leadership roles at Bell Canada and other organizations.
