Singapore, May 2024 – OCS is delighted to announce the appointment of Alexandre Gerard as Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific and Middle East, effective from 13th May 2024.
In his new role, Alexandre assumes full responsibility for financial operations throughout the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, with a primary focus on optimising financial performance, driving revenue growth, and maximising our business’s profitability.
With a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Rochester, Alexandre brings over two decades of extensive experience in various sectors, including manufacturing, retail, and logistics within Asia. Prior to joining OCS, Alexandre served as the Group CFO and Regional CFO of several companies supported by private equities. His expertise and leadership will be instrumental in advancing our strategic objectives and realising our ambitious growth agenda.
Before joining OCS, Alexandre served as Chief Operating Officer at APM Monaco, where he oversaw the company’s operations in Guangdong, China.
Prior to that, Alexandre was the CFO at Grand Royal Group from September 2016 to August 2020. In this role, he led the reorganization of finance, IT, and legal operations, supported brand expansion, and managed a $450M turnover.
At Christian Bernard Group, Alexandre served as Asia CFO from June 2013 to August 2016, managing the financial turnaround of operations in China, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. He also held the position of CFO at ECCO Indonesia & Thailand from November 2007 to June 2013, where he spearheaded finance and HR operations for 11,000 employees.
Earlier in his career, Alexandre was the Regional Finance Director at Alcan Packaging from 2002 to 2007, and Managing Director at SDV Logistics from 1993 to 2000, where he launched joint venture organizations and managed profit centers in the Philippines and Indonesia.
