Prior to Equinox, Alim served as the President of adidas Canada and Senior Vice President, Global Talent and Head of HR for Global Brands at adidas. During his tenure, he led a team of 1,500+ people to achieve record-level sales growth and implemented a comprehensive talent renewal agenda, enhancing brand equity and profitability. Alim also chaired the global Accelerating Diversity and Inclusion Committee, working closely with the global CEO to drive culture change and inclusiveness.

Earlier in his career, Alim was a Board Member and Chief Operating Officer at Hornet Networks, where he led product management, engineering, growth, and community support teams. He also held the position of Chief People Officer at Kik Interactive, Inc., scaling the company internationally through acquisitions and innovative people programs.
