This strategic leadership change is set to be effective from June 1, 2024.
Banerjee, who has a rich background in media and entertainment, brings extensive experience to his new role. Before joining SPNI, he held significant positions at Disney, where he served as the head of content for Disney+ Hotstar and managed the company’s TV channels in Hindi-speaking markets.
His diverse experience includes overseeing content for Hindi entertainment, managing business operations for Star Bharat, and leading various regional channels. Banerjee’s strategic vision and leadership skills are expected to drive SPNI forward in the competitive media landscape.
