Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, January 2025 – Alison Chalmer has joined Auto & General Australia as the Chief People Officer – Insurance Australia, where she will lead the organization’s people and culture strategies, focusing on leadership development, cultural transformation, and talent optimization across the company’s operations.
Prior to her new role, Alison Chalmer served as Executive Vice President People & Culture and Corporate Services – Chief People Officer at TechnologyOne for approximately two years, where she led a global workforce strategy supporting over 1,200 team members across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia. She drove cultural reform, leadership development, and implemented talent management frameworks aligned with the company’s aggressive growth objectives.

Earlier, she served as Chief People, Performance, and Happiness Officer at Prezzee, where she significantly expanded the company’s workforce and led initiatives that resulted in being recognized as a Great Place to Work and AFR Best Place to Work. Prior to this, she held leadership roles such as EGM Customer & Growth at Qubik, and various leadership positions at Cleanaway Waste Management, focusing on customer experience, major change initiatives, and organizational development.
Her extensive career also includes senior leadership roles at Virgin Australia, where she led HR strategy and transformation projects, and Australia Post, focusing on large-scale change management and employee experience.
