Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, December 2024 – Allison Murphy has been appointed as Vice President, Talent Risk Transformation at First Citizens Bank. In this strategic leadership role, Murphy will drive the evolution of talent risk management, focusing on mitigating workforce-related risks, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence. She will lead the design and implementation of frameworks to assess and monitor talent risks, align talent strategies with organizational goals, and collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Murphy’s tenure at First Citizens Bank spans over a decade, beginning with her impactful role as Vice President, Manager Talent Management, where she enhanced enterprise talent programs, spearheaded M&A workstreams, and led cultural assimilation initiatives. Her expertise in HR governance and regulatory engagement established her as a key leader in talent management.

Previously, she held the role of Assistant Vice President, Talent Management at CIT, where she developed executive succession plans, conducted organizational design reviews, and managed critical board reporting. Murphy also served as an Associate HR Business Partner at CIT, supporting technology and operations teams through organizational design and cost-saving initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Murphy gained valuable experience as an Analyst, HR Generalist, where she focused on data analytics, employee relations, and compensation modeling. Her foundational years included roles at CoreMedical Group and Direct Capital (later acquired by CIT), where she developed her skills in recruiting and HR operations.
