In her new role, Amanda will oversee the company’s global finance strategy and operations, driving financial governance and growth across NextPlat’s expanding portfolio in technology and healthcare.
Before assuming this leadership role, Amanda Ferrio served as Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Progressive Care Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of NextPlat Corporation. Over her three-year tenure, she was instrumental in strengthening the company’s financial management framework, compliance systems, and reporting processes to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Progressive Care, Amanda worked at BBC International LLC as Controller, where she managed accounting operations and led initiatives to enhance financial reporting and control structures. Her experience also includes four years at Willis Lease Finance Corporation, where she held key roles as Senior Manager of Financial Reporting & Compliance and Financial Reporting Manager, ensuring accuracy and adherence to global financial standards.
Earlier in her career, Amanda gained experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors through finance roles at BioMatrix Specialty Infusion Pharmacy, FedNat, and XN Worldwide Insurance, where she focused on financial reporting, auditing, and compliance. She began her professional journey as an Accounts Payable/GL Specialist at Campus Federal, where she developed a strong foundation in accounting and operational finance.
