With over 17 years of experience in sales planning, business strategy, and go-to-market execution, Amar brings a strong track record of driving growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion across leading consumer and technology brands.
In his new role at Hindware Limited, Amar will lead sales operations, distribution strategy, and GTM transformation initiatives, strengthening the company’s channel ecosystem and supporting its next phase of growth across bathware, tiles, and building products. His strategic leadership will play a key role in optimizing sales effectiveness, enhancing market penetration, and accelerating brand performance across categories.
Before joining Hindware, Amar Nath Thakur served as AGM – Sales Planning & Strategy at LG India, where he spearheaded market development strategies and GTM frameworks for high-growth categories. Prior to LG, he was associated with Havells India Ltd. as Head – Sales Planning and GTM for Lloyd, leading national sales operations and portfolio expansion efforts in the consumer durables segment.
Earlier in his career, Amar held strategic leadership roles at Jio Platforms Limited, where he contributed to business strategy and planning initiatives during a critical growth phase of the telecom giant. He also worked with Idea Cellular Ltd. and Reliance Communications, where he was responsible for business planning, budgeting, and commercial strategy, laying the foundation for his expertise in market operations and revenue management.
Amar holds an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, an institution known for nurturing business leaders across sectors.
